Rembrandt traveling exhibition in nursing home

The traveling exhibition Rembrandt opens in Vitalis Berckelhof in Eindhoven on Friday. From that moment on, the nursing home is full of paintings made by participants of a Rembrandt competition.

Vitalis organized that competition as part of the Rembrandt Year. This year marks the 350th anniversary of Rembrandt’s death, which is why 2019 was declared the Year of Rembrandt. Vitalis therefore organized a competition in which all residents of the home, staff and volunteers were allowed to participate. Participants submitted their own painting, sculpture, installation or photo. As long as Rembrandt was the source of inspiration, it was good.

Friday is the opening of the exhibition. During the opening, the jury will announce one prize winner from all entries. The exhibition then travels to various Vitalis locations.
