Player from Oranje-Rood wins European Championship

Laura Nunnink of Oranje-Rood has won the European Championship in Antwerp with the Dutch hockey team.

The hockey ladies, with Nunnink in the starting line-up, managed to beat Germany 0-2 in the final. Kelly Jonker and Lidewij Welten provided the redeeming goals. Because of this victory, the Dutch hockey team is not only the European Champion for the second time in a row, but the ladies have also won a ticket for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
