The ‘Roosdonck-Molen’ (Roosdonck Mill) in Neunen is to be renovated.

This is made possible with a contribution from the Molenfonds (Mill Fund) of more than EUR31,000. The so-called ‘tail’ of the Roosdonck will be replaced. The ‘tail’ is the construction of beams on the back of the mill.

The windmill was drawn by Vincent van Gogh several times. Its ‘tail’ is in bad condition. The old materials will be used in the work. When the job is done, the mill will be good for decades.

The Molenfonds seeks to preserve windmills as Dutch cultural heritage sites.
