A 38-year-old Hermes bus driver was assaulted at the station in Eindhoven on Sunday morning.

The suspect pressed the emergency button for no reason. The driver spoke to him and was then punched. He also got a cup of ice cream thrown over him. He was not injured. It is not yet known who did it, but there is video footage of the incident.

The Eindhoven citizen has reported the assault to the police. A Hermes spokesperson told Studio040 that he didn’t want to say anything about it, because the police are now working on it. He does say that bus drivers are regularly confronted with violence.
