The Eindhoven University of Technology has ranked in the top 50 of the QS ranking for ‘Subject Areas’.

This is for three fields of study and research offered at this university. Mechanical Engineering is in 44th place, Chemical Engineering is in 42nd, and Statistics & Operational Research is in 39th spot of the QS World University Rankings by Subject for 2019.

QS World University Rankings is published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British company that specialises in international education and studying. In the ‘Broad Subject Areas’ that fall under Engineering & Technology, TU/e has risen from 103 to a worldwide ranking of 89. Also, compared to previous years, TU/e has performed better in 12 of the 13 ranked ‘Subject Areas’.

TU/e’s Rector, Frank Baaijens, says, “The university invests heavily in quality in research and education. So it is good to see that being translated into recognition.”
