Auctioned PSV shirts raise 1,000’s for charity

Auctioning off the shirts of PSV players has raised more than EUR7,800 for charity.

After their Champions League match against FC Barcelona, the players literally gave the shirts off their backs to be auctioned. This was at the initiative of the Eindhoven club. The money raised will be donated to the PSV United project. Now, football and the PSV brand will be used to uplift youngsters in disadvantaged neighbourhoods.

The young players from PSV United in Woensel West had the opportunity to train with PSV’s youth talent. That is them on the photo. This photo will be made into Christmas cards. These cards will be taken to lonely senior citizens in their neighbourhoods during the festive season.
