Parktheatre to host 48th International Xmas Winter Circus

Circus acts from all over the world will form part of the 48th International Christmas Winter Circus.

There is a clown from Italy, a trapeze artist from Hungary, and a Diabolo juggler from Japan, to name but a few. All of these acts, and more and coming to the Parktheatre in Eindhoven next month.

Parktheatre’s Grote Zaal will once again be transformed into a genuine circus arena. Arjan Smit, who is known for his role in the well-known US children’s programme, Sesame Street, will take on the role of Ringmaster. There will also be a live orchestra providing the music.

More than just a circus

There is also plenty to do besides watching the 17 circus acts in the arena. There will be food stalls and an indoor skating rink in the Great Foyer. Parktheatre will provide the skates.  And before the show, patrons can enjoy a tasty lunch, High Tea or get something off the special Christmas Menu at the Smaaktheater Dertien restaurant.

During this circus extravaganza, there will also be various campaign that members of the public can take part in. These include the Kerststerrenactie (Christmas Stars Campaign)and the Kerstspeelgoedactie (Christmas Toys Campaign). This is being run in partnership with the Speelgoedbank (Toy Bank).

This spectacle takes place for a week from Saturday,  22 December until Sunday, 30 December. You can reserve tickets and get more information at kerstwintercircus.nl. Ticket prices range from EUR15,50 to EUR28,50.
