Ranomi Kromowidjojo won the 100 meter freestyle during the World Cup Games in Beijing.
She clocked in at 51.51. The Eindhoven swimmer was seconds faster than Swedish swimmer Sarah Sjöström, who set a time of 51.56.
Femke Heemskerk finished third: at 51.92. Earlier, she was the fastest in the 200-meter freestyle. She won a direct battle with Sjöström, who finished second.
Kromowidjojo previously won gold in the 50 meter freestyle. There are two world cup weekends for the top swimmers. In December, the World Championship starts in Hangzhou.
