During the 13th – 17th of August, the Veldhoven swimming pool Zwembad D’n Ekkerman is hosting a four-day swim event.
The idea is that you sign up to swim a distance and have four days to complete the challenge. The distances options are 1,000, 2,000 or 4,000 meters for adults, 500 meters for children over the age of 11 and kids under the age of 10 are challenged to swim 250 meters.
The theme for the year is ‘circus’. Every day there will be a different circus performance that participants can enjoy. There will be themed event and activities at the pool during the afternoons for participants to enjoy.
The cost to participate is 12.50, or 14 Euros if you register after August 8. A portion of the proceeds goes toward a non-profit group that helps less privileged children get their swim diplomas.
