PSV gains another point in new outfit

Twice during PSV’s match against The Hague’s ADO, Cocu’s team faced losing the match. Yet PSV managed to fight back and gain another championship point, last Sunday.

Not that coach Cocu was happy and satisfied.

PSV started the game well enough. At first, the Eindhoven team even led the match. Then ADO The Hague managed to score and drew even. ADO even scored again, leading the game.

The fact the The Hague team managed to score at all, particularly upset the Eindhoven coach.

ADO scored too easily, according to Cocu. At the end of the match, he remarked: “This is how you make an opposite team stronger!”

Nevertheless, he also had praise for his team. He specifically lauded the way his team continued to fight till the very end of the match. In the game’s 85th minute, Pereiro managed to score and the team drew even again: 3-3 on the scoreboard. This ensured PSV got another point in the championship league.

This was the first time PSV played wearing its new outfit. The team’s kit is white with a few blue details.

PSV’s new kit was inspired by a former one, dating from 1988. This was the year PSV won the European Cup.

If you have not reacted yet: what do you think of this new PSV kit?
