The gift of laughter

On stage, there is a big gift box. And a funny clown! A portly bald gentleman with a red tuft of hair plays music. Before the gift is unwrapped, there are jokes galore. Want to know what is in the box?

Then attend a performance of ‘Clown Gift’ at the Arno Theatre in Eindhoven. A performance in which Arno Huibers entertains old and young with his antics. He has been doing his clown act all over the world for almost 40 years.

Mimicry, subtle humour and music distinguish Huibers as a gentle clown. This sets him apart from the traditional boisterous clown. His performances have been well-received everywhere. Musician, Paul van der Heijden will also perform in the tradition of the white clown.

The shows in Eindhoven are part of a successful series of performances done in Germany, Belgium, France, Indonesia, South America, Romania, Italy and, now, the Netherlands. Upcoming show dates are: 10, 11 February / 3, 4, 24, 25 March / 21, 22 April and 12, 13 May.  2018. The hour-long shows begin at 19:30 on Saturdays an 15:00 on Sundays.

Huibers will perform at Arno’s Theater, 11 Kalverstraat, Eindhoven. Tickets cost €7,50 (children ages 3 – 16) and €12,50 for adults. Reservations can be made via e-mail at info@arnohuibers.nl (confirmation within two days).
