Breimode Brigitte has been in Blixembosch since 1985. After 32 years, the store is still popular.
The craft store is run by the couple Brigitte and Jan van Werkhoven. The pair sells numerous things. From do-it-yourself embroidery kits to knitting needles. And of course, wool in countless colors. “But we also do something extra for the customers, we give them advice, we help them along the way”, says Brigitte.
The store of Jan and Brigitte is the most extensive craft store in the Eindhoven area. “Customers even come here from other provinces,” Jan says proudly.
Brigitte started with the store. Jan was still working at Philips, but after his retirement, he did not want to watch the world go by. “I just like to get in touch with people, and I’ve also done some handiwork for a while. I like doing that.”
The couple will continue with the store until it is no longer fun or until it is physically no longer possible.
