Concert in aid of Sint Maarten raises over EUR 1 000

A benefit concert held in Neunen over the weekend yielded almost EUR 1 100. It was organized in aid of victims of Hurricane Irma on Sint Maarten.

The benefit concert was organized by Paul Weijmans, a former Nuenen councillor and pianist. About 40 people attended the performance which took place at the Regenboog Center.

The proceeds will be paid to giro number 5125 of the Red Cross, which is providing first aid to those affected in Sint Maarten.
