A 41-year old woman from Geldrop threatened the police with two knives on Friday night. Officers were breaking up a fight between two exes. It got so out of control that the woman threatened her ex and the police. The police subdued her with pepper stray and arrested her.
Police officers were called to a house in Sprang-Capelle at about 23:00 on Friday evening. There was a report of a domestic disturbance that had gotten out of hand. The resident had been locked out of his house by his ex-girlfriend. When the police arrived, she had already packed some of her belongings.
The woman had threatened the resident with a knife and pair of scissors she had among her things. The police confiscated these items when the woman was asked to leave the house. She was in the kitchen at that time and took two knives from a drawer, and became threatening.
The agents told the woman to drop the knives. They then pepper sprayed her. She was then handcuffed and arrested.
