EUR 1,4 Million For Creative Youngsters In The Region

Stichting Cultuur Eindhoven has received EUR 1,4 million to stimulate the development of talent in Eindhoven. The goal is to introduce children to creative industries so Eindhoven can stay innovative.

In this way, Eindhoven can remain a creative city with lots of opportunities for designers and artists. The project was launched under the name ‘programma creatieve industrie’ (programme creative industry). Youngsters will get cultural education from an early age to allow the sustainable flow of creativity into adulthood.

The money comes from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Eindhoven City Council. In the first project, Group 8 pupils are going to design their future. The will build their own small business with help from the Ontdekfabriek and Enversed.

Stichting Cultuur Eindhoven will manage the project and it’s policy. The Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie (Creative Industry Stimulation Fund) and the Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie (Fund for Cultural Participation) are also involved in the process.
