The Atlas building at the TU/e has won a Breeam award for sustainable features of the premises. The jury commended the TU on the contributions it is making in the field of research, and also on the good condition of the Atlas building.
Shopping complex, the Heuvel Galerie, also received a Breeam award. The building was recently renovated and extra attention was paid to sustainability. The award is the crowning glory of the renovation work.
The British Breeam awards awards certificates to energy-neutral buildings around the world.
