The police discovered four kilograms of cannabis in the boot of a car in a large joint police check held in Strijp.
The three occupants were arrested. Two were released, but the third is still in custody. The car has also been impounded.
This was not the only drug-related incident. One person was also arrested for being in possession of strong narcotics. A large amount of money was also found in another vehicle. It was also confiscated. The police are investigating where the money came from.
In total, more the 1800 euros in unpaid fines was collected by the police. The tax authorities also seized 13 cars.
