Defence exercises between Gilze and Eindhoven

Military exercises will take place this week between Gilze and Eindhoven airbases, held by the Royal Air Force.

The Defense Helicopter Command will fly so-called Cougar helicopters in preparation for when they are sent to mission areas.

The helicopters will be flying at low altitudes, causing potential noise pollution for local residents. The Air Force requested waivers for the exercise, and locals can call a nuisance complaint line set up by the Defense Department.

Exercises are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon and evening, as well as Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and the following week.
