TU/e pond drained to make way for GLOW installation

A pond on the TU/e campus is being drained in preparation for light art festival GLOW.

A large part of this year’s GLOW will be situated on the university campus. Construction will start on an installation inside the empty pond, located between the Atlas and Matrix buildings, this Saturday. When construction is complete, the pond will be refilled.

The water level of the pond next to De Zwarte Doos will also be reduced. During GLOW this pond will hold artwork featuring the Tesla Coil.

GLOW festival takes place from 12 November to 19 November, with part of the route taking visitors through the TU/e campus.
