Building of bus station Woensel delayed

The construction of the bus station in the Eindhoven district of Woensel is delayed by one and a half months.

There is a setback with the assembly of the steel structure with a manufacturing fault in a part of the steel beams for the roofing. The beams need to be remade.

The steel poles are already in place. The bus lanes are also already in use. Once the roof is finished, passengers will also be able to use the platform.

The bus station will now be complete at the end of January 2017. The station should have actually been ready by 11 December when the new bus timetable begins.
