Firearms and ammunition found in the Tommy van der Burg case

Police found firearms and ammunition on the two accused suspects in the mistreatment of Tommy van der Burg.  Stun guns were also seized.

Van der Burg was shot to death outside the Van der Valk hotel on the Aalsterweg in Eindhoven, but a year earlier he had been the victim of a serious assault. Police see the incidents as linked. On Tuesday morning two suspects were arrested in the assault case. A 64 year old man from Best and a 36 year old from Oirschot were arrested.

Their houses were searched for traces of the abuse, and also for any traces in the murder case. During the search, the firearms and ammunition were found. Mobile phones, data and papers were also confiscated.
