De Piuslaan will be closed off from traffic between Monday August 8 and Sunday August 14 in two directions. It concerns the part of the Ring way between de Leenderweg and de Petrus Dondersstraat / Sint Bonifaciuslaan.
The time period was chosen as it falls in de bouwvak vakantie (scheduled yearly summer holiday when construction industry workers have their holidays) as this is the most quite time period on that road in Eindhoven.
De Piuslaan is in need of maintenance. As construction on such a busy road always cause a lot of disruption to traffic the municipality chose to do the maintenance in as short a period as was possible. This is why the road will be closed off in two directions.
