All the old game shirts of PSV with the Philips-logo on the front of the shirt are placed on bus shelters spread out all over Eindhoven. It is part of a campaign to say goodbye to a long tradition.
A total of 58 shirts can be seen throughout the city. Supporters can take photos with the t-shirt and share the photo via social media with the hashtag #proudofyou,and stand a chance of winning ten times ten tickets for a PSV match for the upcoming season.
The competition serves to emphasize that Philips has committed itself to a ten year sponsorship deal, even though they are no longer the main sponsor.
In the next season it will no longer be Philips on the front of the shirt but it will be Energydirect. Philips will still be on the sleeve of the shirt.
