E-waste Race winners pick up 2800 devices

The big winner of the E -waste Race in Eindhoven this year was Child Centre Theresa. With about 50 children they gathered 2800 electrical devices.

Everything that had a battery or had a plug could be collected. The articles which were collected were cables, electric toothbrushes to phones, laptops and old electronic toys.

For all their hard work they won a school trip to the "Ontdek Fabriek"(Discover factory) at Strijp-S . Councilor Mary Ann gave away the prize to the school.

By all classes that participated, they collected together 11,666 electronic devices. The intention is to make sure that the electrical devices are not thrown away on the streets.
