VDL Groep acquires Melamo machinery

VDL Groep, Eindhoven, has acquired Melamo machinery. The Veldhoven-based company, Melamo, had recently become insolvent

Melamo was active in various markets as a supplier of precision metal and plastic components. The machinery previously used by Melamo, will be transferred to VDL. The machines will be placed at VDL Industrial Modules and VDL HMI, both located in Helmond.

VDL Groep has its head office in Eindhoven and is known for its development and manufacturing of buses and coaches. In addition, VDL Groep is focused on development, production and sales of semi-finished products for the bus, coach and car industries.
