Primary school runs the show at Van Abbemuseum

Children of primary school De Klimboom from Best rule the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven today. They will work as a real museum staff.

Today, pupils from 4 to 12-years-old will be a cashier, security guard, tour guide or creator of an exhibition. The children will also, along with artists and Van Abbe staff, make new costumes for the attendants and art installations that are on display in the museum today. The pupils will redecorate parts of the museum.

The Klimboom asked the museum to participate in an original project on art. The idea of the project is for pupils to learn to develop their creativity. Van Abbemuseum supports the project.
