Newest European apps presented in Eindhoven today

Today, fifteen teams from across Europe, will present their latest mobile applications in Eindhoven and compete for a spot in the Global Mobile Challenge. The apps will range from one that helps refugees understand a new culture to one that serves as a global peer to peer platform for surfers.

The Mobile Challenge, organized by the IE Business School and 4YFN (4 Years From Now), is designed for startups with a mobile strategy. The European finals are in Eindhoven today. The three winners will continue on to the world finals in late February, which is part of the renowned Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Barcelona, the world capital of mobile services, has asked the High Tech Campus to host the European finals of the Mobile Challenge. Eindhoven owes its election to its development in recent years, including in the area of applications for the Internet of things.

Speakers at the event include Alberto Prado (Head of Digital Accelerator at Philips) on corporate entrepreneurship and William Davila Valeri (COO StudyPortals) who talks about The World of the Future.
