The VVD wants to review a new solution to the traffic problem at the intersection of Montgomerylaan with the Ring. The busy traffic on the ring, along with two new HOV-2 Bus lines do not combine, and therefore need to be restructured.
Not everyone however sees a problem. To adjust, the zoning area should be adapted again according to Alderman Jannie Visscher and that would take years.
She also believes that the traffic flow should be sufficient with two traffic lanes. At the area that could get busy, junction Ring-Montgomerylaan, the addition of an extra lane is considered.
