Man accused of burglaries arrested after DNA match

On Sunday, the Police in Nieuwegein – based on a DNA match – arrested a man from Echt who is suspected of burglaries in Eindhoven and Mierlo.

The police was already looking for him. On Sunday, January 10th police officers found the man in Nieuwegein, where they held and arrested him.

He broke into a house in Venstraat, in July 2014. His name was on the list of suspects in an investigation of a burglary in Mierlo, at Heer van Scherpenzeelweg. That was in August last year.

The suspect is now under arrest for further investigations.
