Lab-1 not to move to Campina building, refurbishing too expensive

Lab-1 is not going to move into the vacant Campina building. The renovation of the building is too expensive for the cultural breeding ground. Says Chris de Zeeuw, of Lab-1 to the Eindhovens Dagblad (daily).

Lab-1 was is in the Natlab at Strijp-S for a long time. Quite a while they were looking for a new premises for Lab-1. Now it seemed possible, but Lab-2 (the sequel to Lab-1) is still empty-handed.

The former factory was already being used for some time for illegal parties. D66 political party put a stop to that on time, because dangerous situation would arise because of a lack of safety procedures and lack of emergency escape routes. The arrival of Lab-2 should stop all the parties.

Another location for the cultural nesting place is hard to find so far.
