Geldrop-Mierlo locks public waste bins as damage prevention

The Geldrop-Mierlo municipality, decided to lock public waste bins, as of now. This decision has been taken, following the damage done by igniting of fireworks, last year.

According to the municipality, the damage incurred last year, reached a sum of a few thousand Euros. The municipality would like, therefore, to prevent the fireworks damage. As a result, public waste bins will be locked from now on and up-to the first week of January.
This means that residents of the Geldrop-Mierlo municipality, should take into account that for the time being, all their garbage and their dog waste bags should be taken by them, back to their respective homes.
