World premiere for industrial 3D metal printer

The Eindhoven-based company, Additive Industries, is presenting today, a world premiere, of the first Industrial 3D metal printing system. This is taking place, at a fair, in Frankfurt, Germany.

The System is called MetalFAB1. It consists of various "rooms", whereby 3D metal printing can take place. The metal powder used for this process, can be immediately recycled in the machine.

Additive Industries will be starting with a Beta Programme, next month. Four of the Beta Programme machines have already been sold to clients from the air and space industries, high-tech machine construction and tool manufacturing, this according to information from Additive Industries.
