The Veldhoven municipality is going to absorb 480 refugees; they will be placed in holiday park De Buitenjan. According to Omroep Brabant, (Brabant province broadcasting service), this decision was taken by the town council, yesterday evening. The refugees will start arriving in Veldhoven, next week.
Amongst the refugees there are approximately 80 youngsters, between twelve to eighteen years old. The group of youngsters will be housed together in the Kasteel (castle) building. The rest of the refugees will be housed in the various buildings in the holiday park.
For those requiring further information about the absorption of the refugees in De Buitenjan holiday park, an information evening will take place in the holiday park, tomorrow evening, between 19:00 hrs to 21:00 hrs.
