1,200 runners join ‘t Is voor Niks-loop Geldrop

Around 1,200 runners took part yesterday in the ”t Is voor Niks-loop’ (Run for No Reason) in Geldrop. A running event without a good cause, other than giving participants a fun day. Mayor Link officially started the race.

Participation was free, and the idea behind the event is just to run for fun. The race was not limited to runners, it was also possible to walk the course.

Nevertheless, the runners took things seriously. There were a variety of courses to be run, ranging from 6 to 42 kilometres. They all started and finished at the Coevering in Geldrop.
