First weekend Vershal het Veem mobbed

The first pilot trial weekend of the Vershal Het Veem market went well. Partly thanks to visitors to the Dutch Design Week, the shops at Strijp-S were continually mobbed.

There is space in the market for specialist shops, selling wine, nuts, cheese and pancakes, and also more unusual shops with crisps, snacks and the traditional Dutch pepernoten.

A number of shops were still filled with design, this being Dutch DESIGN Week in Eindhoven. The shop space has not yet been sold.

The market is still looking for participants, among other a baker and a butcher. Talks with entrepreneurs are already in full swing.

There is a trial run this week, during the DDW, and again next week.
