New food hall opens for trial run in Strijp-S

Vershal Het Veem, a 3,000 square metre food hall, will open its doors for a trial period starting October 17th.

Business owners already given a spot, more than half of which are restaurants and shops, will open for trade then. Jack Hock, director of Trudo – which initiated the project – says remaining units are expected to be filled during and after the trial period.

Certain criteria must be met for businesses to be accepted in the food hall, such as food being prepared freshly on a daily basis. The hall’s opening hours are Wednesday – Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00. However, businesses will be open every day during Dutch Design Week (17-25 October).
