Today is the beginning of Purple, the introduction week for all Fontys students in Eindhoven. During this intro week, the students will sleep in the largest hostel in the Netherlands.
This is due to the Klokgebouw being transformed into a sort of student hotel, with two dormitories and a shared central space, where all new first years can stay for the week. In order to make clear the temporary Fontys tenancy, the Klokgebouw will be illuminated in purple.
However ultimately, it’s about what the students learn about the city. Today and tomorrow, each section will carry out its own programme, and on Wednesday the students will be going to town, to get to know the city.
