The police apprehended a man, on the A2 highway, yesterday morning, with more than a kilo of heroin in his vehicle.
The 26-year-old Rotterdam resident, was driving in the vicinity of Leende, when the police stopped him, in order to perform a search on his vehicle. Apparently, the man had 1,250 grams of heroin and a few packages of marihuana in his possession.
The vehicle, as well as the drugs, were confiscated by the police. The man is in custody, pending further investigation.
