Victim of Picassohof shooting is a man from Germany

The victim of the shooting at the Picassohof in Tongelre Saturday afternoon is a 32-year-old man from the German town of Wuppertal.

The man was shot in his right leg inside a car. The suspect is the driver, who got out of the car after the shooting and ran towards Rubensstraat.

Local residents took care of the victim. He was taken to hospital by ambulance. The police searched for evidence in the neighbourhood and witnesses shared their account.

The suspect is a man of about twenty years old. He has a slightly tanned skin and medium length brown hair. He is about 1.70 meters tall and has an average build. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark coat and sneakers.
