Discovered dead body prevents train traffic

Train traffic between Eindhoven and Den Bosch was brought to a standstill this morning, following the discovery of a human dead body.

The human remains were discovered in the vicinity of the Laagstraat in Vught. The identity of the deceased is yet unknown.

Various passengers tweeted that they were stranded, since they had no possibility to travel further.

The Dutch Railway website, the NS, informed passengers that they should take into account delays of 15 to 30 minutes. An alternative route mentioned was to travel via Tilburg. The railway authorities expected that train traffic would resume at 12:30 hrs.
