ASML books 26 percent more profit than in third quarter

ASML has had a good third quarter this year. The chipmachine manufacturer booked with 244 million euros, 26 percent more profit than in the same period last year.

The turnover was comparable to last year’s, but the chipmachines are becoming more profitable every time.

According to CEO Peter Wennink the Veldhoven company is on course to close 2014 in a successful manner.

For the beginning of 2015 enough orders have been placed also, to start off right the next year as well.
