Fontys starts in new building

Yesterday, Fontys Hogescholen started in the ‘Witte Dame’ (White Lady).

Thousands of Human Resource Management and Applied Psychology students and hundreds of employees started the year in the former three-story Philips building.

Reason for the move was that the Rachelsmolen location in South Woensel had become too small.

Part of the space Fontys occupies today was vacant. Another part was previously used by the library. Fontys tried to create open spaces in order to keep the building’s original aspect.

The school also thinks that moving into this new location may result in a cooperation with the Design Academy and the library.
