Officials who are calling Eindhoven residents should do so with a recognizable phone number. This supports the trust residents place in their local government, the Ouderen Appel (political party for senior citizens) claims. The party is questioning city council.
The Ouderen Appel wants to know why today residents are being called with shielded caller ID and if the council plans to change this habit.
The party is wondering whether there are conversations where it is absolutely necessary that the official’s phone number should be shielded and what kind of conversations these are.
Because in the end ‘overtness is a first condition’ to obtain and maintain the citizen’s trust, the Ouderen Appel writes.
