This weekend the Aalsterweg will be open to traffic again. The reconstruction work, necessary because of the fast traffic lane (HOV2), has been completed.
There is now a single bus lane between the Ring and the Kortonjolaan and, between the Kortonjolaan and the junction with the Antoon Coolenlaan, there are double lanes for the high speed bus service.
The Aalsterweg was closed on 4 August and has been closed to all traffic for nearly three weeks.
