The festive Pink Weekend drew more than 37,000 visitors to Eindhoven over the past weekend, the organization reported on Twitter.
Pink Saturday hosted more than 25,000 people. Most of them came to watch the highlight of the event: the parade. Also the festivities on Friday and Sunday drew thousands of visitors.
The turnout was lower than expected because of the weather conditions. There were no incidents, even when the Oranje fans arrived in the city Saturday evening.
The Pink Weekend theme this year was ‘Diversity adds colour to life’, focussing on tolerance.
