Eindhoven resident five years in jail for drug trafficking Spain

A 69-year-old Eindhoven resident has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for possessing and transporting more than 85 pounds of hard drugs by the Den Bosch court.

The man wanted to export drugs to Spain. He himself was employed by a transport company in Eindhoven and asked two colleagues to deliver five boxes to a Spanish harbour.
The drivers did not trust the cargo, so somewhere along the way they opened the boxes and discovered a suspicious white substance. The men notified the police. Research showed that the substance was amphetamine.

The judge also accused the man of involving two innocent people in his business.
