VDL needs hundreds of extra staff for the production of cars in the Nedcar factories located in Limburg.
All 1,500 former employees are back at work, but another 400 people are needed, says NedCar Director Joost Govaarts.
In 2012, VDL signed an agreement with Mitsubishi for the takeover of NedCar. The manufacturing plant has been completely redesigned for the production of the new MINI model for BMW.
The first cars should be leaving the Limburg factory this summer.
