Last November ten startups joined the “Startupbootcamp” HighTech XL program.
Three weeks before Demo Day and Startupbootcamp HighTech XL is flying high.
Ten startups have had three months of intense mentorship and have made tremendous progress. Participating startups are polishing their pitches off by heart to pitch to an audience of 400 investors on 21st February. Startup pitches last around eight minutes followed by one on one talks with investors. Participating young companies focus on markets: The Internet of Things, Health Technology, Renewable Energy, Advanced materials, and Smart Semiconductors. Young companies are looking for investments of € 500,000 to € 5 million.
Guest of Honour, Jan Hommen (President of the Supervisory Board of the Brabant Development Agency – BOM) is known for his leadership and long track record in national and international business. Hommen has been a Board member at Alcoa, Royal Philips, ING Group and has an impressive service record as commissioner. Hommen embraces startups shown by for example his participation in the OOK fund
