Library the Witte Dame is going to get its own bookstore. This involves a pilot project, in order to see whether the books will actually be sold there.
The books for sale are all new and include reading matter for adults and children. By selling books as well, the library hopes to satisfy its visitors’ ‘reading’ needs. Furthermore, this is an addition to its collection.
Financially the library will not be affected by all this, because the plans are being carried out in close collaboration with FAAN Book and Advice, who are going to pay for the staff and the square meters used for the new bookstore.
The bookstore will be opened on 8 March and can be visited during the opening hours of the library.
