Philips no longer impervious

Philips has plummeted in the list of most sustainable companies in the world. Last year, the Eindhoven Company was in seventh place, this year it dropped to the 48th place. This was revealed during the World Economic Forum, reports Novum.

What has led to this fall is not yet clear. Various criteria for sustainability are used in compiling the list. For example, the efficient use of raw materials and the degree to which the company takes ethical and social responsibility.

There is now only one Dutch company in the top 20 list of most sustainable companies, and that is ASML. The company is in the 15th place.
